Insane sheer white lace Gyldons of Hollywood short wrap robe and matching bell bottom pants with marabou feather trim! Original tag in place at inner shoulder seam. Circa 1960s vintage and a truly rare trousseau item! "The best figures are in Glydons!"- indeed.

Both pieces are 100% nylon with marabou trim- mid scale floral lace with sheer nylon mesh backing. Lace and inner mesh are white, marabou is an ivory white color throughout.

Jacket / robe is hip length, fitted with princess seaming. Tie threads through right side waist for adjustable fit, self tie. V- neckline. Sleeves are not backed in nylon mesh- just the lace layer. Mid sleeve seams with lower belled sleeves to correspond with slightly flared hem (and flared pants!). Marabou trim along the neckline, placket, hem, and cuffs.

Pants are pull on style with elastic waist- elastic is present but not terribly elastic from age- an easy fix but worth noting. Higher was it, straight legs to about the knees and flared to the belled hems, with still more marabou!

Condition is excellent to flawless- slight loss of elasticity to waist of pants as noted. Otherwise pristine, spotless, as new. Marabou is impossibly soft and super fluffy. Ideal as part of a trousseau, or as a daring wedding ensemble, or lounging about.

robe- 15.75" shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 17" across tieback at underarms (34" circumference, though the front is darted with easy allowance to a 38" chest), 26" to 30" waist (perhaps a bit more room if needed, self tie), about 46" hem circumference, 26" overall length (marabou fluff adds a bit more length), 20.5" sleeve length (with a bit more length from marabou), 21" belled sleeve openings

pants- 28" to 35" waist allowance (some elasticity), 40" hips, 12.25" rise, 27.25" inseam (with additional marabou length), 26" hem circumference (13" across), 39.5" overall length (plus marabou fluff!)
